7 Rooms
Seven large pure quartz crystal, 'singing bowls' form the foundation for this recording. They were played and processed in a variety of ways from slapping, rubbing and bowing, to striking with rubber mallets. In some spots they were filtered and processed beyond recognition using various DJ and guitar boxes and digital processors.
Each track features the tones and overtones of these bowls combined with a very eclectic mix of acoustic performances on a variety of instruments. Many of the 'electronic' elements are really acoustic sounds that have been treated and morphed to give a 'synthetic' effect while maintaining its organic feel and nature.
